Covid 19 Information

Namazie Orthopaedics takes the wellbeing of it’s patients and staff very seriously. As a medical practice, we are required to follow the guidelines set by Queensland Health.

Please DO NOT visit us if you have Covid. We request that all patients and visitors who have symptoms of upper respiratory illness and are Covid negative to wear a mask while on our premises, sanitise their hands upon entry and maintain social distancing.

If you are unable to wear a mask, please inform our staff at time of making your booking. Contact us and let us know and we can either reschedule to a more suitable date or if urgent, we can organize a telehealth appointment. Symptoms of Covid 19 include:

  • Fever over 38 deg C

  • Loss of smell

  • Dry cough

  • Sore throat

  • Breathlessness

In addition, similar restrictions may apply if you are a close contact with a confirmed Covid 19 case.
